Sierra Canyon Basketball: Womens Rings

A warm night in Sacramento on March 9th, 2019, set the stage for the Sierra Canyon Womens Basketball team to bring home the gold in the state Open Division Championship.

“Sierra Canyon’s athletic champions energize our whole community. By always striving to do better than they did yesterday, our students compete wholeheartedly and inspire all of us to do the same.”

Coach Alicia Komaki led her team of women to earn their championship ring through a season of hard work and determination. CalHi Sports sums up the season perfectly in their recent article.

A senior on the team, Amanda Olinger focused solely on Basketball , becoming “a shot blocking, rebounding machine”, the focus resulted into a championship ring on her finger.  The chemistry between the team never went unnoticed as they became one of the three teams from the San Fernando Valley to win State Team Of The Year. After a successful 33-1 season, we are happy to create rings as memorable as the players themselves.
